Communication to the core.

As a Communications Coordinator, I was responsible for all strategic communications — internal and external — for a community with more than 3,500 homes and more than $5 million in annual recurring revenue.


In just six months, I increased our community's email newsletter open rate by 22%. Knowing my audience, understanding their needs, and simplifying the format and language of our weekly resident emails led to success not seen before at Las Sendas.


Unique to homeowner's associations, we also managed a for-profit spa and fitness center. Strategic marketing efforts, including a website redesign, led to an increase is the center's revenue by more than 100% in less than one year.

JOHNSON RANCH

The resident experience rodeo.

When I was promoted to the position of Lifestyle and Communications Director at CCMC, I moved to the Johnson Ranch community. With more than 6,000 homes, I was responsible for every aspect of the resident experience.


Through deliberate communications and marketing efforts, I was able to triple attendance at our summer dive-in movies and more than quadruple the number of vendors that participated in the annual holiday market.


Consistent social media posts, an improved weekly newsletter, paid digital ads, and stakeholder partnerships led to improved relationships between our board, residents, and management team.
